More thoughts about "Prepackaged News"

First, let's call it what it is: It's fake news, alright? It's no more real than The Onion or Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update." Except in those cases the GAO hasn't previously declared them illegal. But as the New York Times reports,"the Justice Department and the Office of Management and Budget circulated a memorandum instructing all executive branch agencies to ignore the GAO findings."

But what is, perhaps, even more disturbing is that The Times also reports that "the major networks, which help distribute the releases, collect fees from the government agencies that produce segments and the affiliates that show them." The Media is supposed to inform us and in doing so--among other things--protect us from governmental abuses of power by shining light upon them.

So the Media has a liberal bias, eh?
